I have to say it’s an acquired taste!
The cover: very pretty and also rather unique after reading the first few chapters I have to say it reflects the story very well.
The Blurb: I was drawn in due to how bizarre the story sounded. Something different is always a blessing given the amount of authors that subscribe to overdone tropes and whole ordinarily I don’t go for science fiction I was intrigued enough to give tennis one a go!
The first look: eurghhhh was all I was thinking whilst reading this. I didn’t enjoy the authors writing style and found the prose to be far too descriptive, I mean if something’s tall I get it you don’t need to express this in 4 different ways in 1 sentence. That has to be one of my biggest pet peeves. Although the plot seems solid enough so far I can’t quite get passed the authors use of language enough to stick with it.
