I always love books based on female friendships, so I was really excited when I read the premise of this book. It left me wanting to know what happens to Maryam and Zahra, can their friendship withstand the tests of time? When I was reading the first impression I was struck by how amazingly Kamila is able to create a sense of atmosphere and place. I truly felt like I’d stepped into the book.
I absolutely love the colours in the cover although it is a little simple design wise. However, this may be perfectly fitting for the book as a whole.
