I have been waiting for this book to come out this year and it will not disappoint. Friends Maryam and Zahra reconnect after a summer apart back for a new school term. Set in Karachi you feel the atmosphere of the place and time - eighties with movie and film references aplenty. As the story moves to now these girls are powerful women and the story continues.
