Fascinating, cathartic and ultimately very powerful story.

Really like the sound of this one and sounds like an intense and ultimately really powerful story about friendship, lies and our histories that we can't leave behind. I also like seeing female friendships in fiction and one that is rooted in the past history of the country sounds momentous. I'd love to read this book and an expecting it to be hard-hitting and emotive.
