This seems like a typical novel about friendship and how it changes over time.
Initially set in Karachi in 1988 it tells the story of fourteen year old best friends, Zahra and Maryam. They think they’ll be friends forever.
This was OK, but I’m not sure it’s my sort of book as I like something faster paced.
The cover is quite bland and I don’t think I would pick it up if I saw it on a bookshelf.
