I really enjoyed reading the first paragraphs of this book. Set in Karachi this book blends well the introduction to our two main characters with descriptions of the place and culture, which is always a selling point. The opening chapter had the added bonus of including references to some of my favourite 80s films..including Ferris Bueller and Pretty In Pink...what more could you ask for from an opening sample.
I also like the fact that I have no idea where this book is heading.
