This sounds exactly like the kind of book I'd usually reach for as a girlier alternative to crime fiction, but still with some mystery and dubious/illegal action. What drew me in especially from the first look though is the relationship between the 2 females and the stark differences between their culture and my own. I love a story where I might actually learn something along the way too!
