Firstly I loved the bold and bright colours of the book cover but would not have felt enticed to go any further and pick the book off the shelf to purchase it. The first chapters for me felt long winded and the text disjointed! The story was slow to start about two girls in India Maryam and Zahra from different backgrounds and of different social status.
