One of my favourite authors is Khaled Hosseini and as soon as I started this book, I felt the similarities between the writing style and stories. This book slips straight into the story, having you picture the main characters and how their lives looked. I love reading books with a mix of different cultures along with a story told from past and present to really immerse you into the narrative. Thank you for bringing Kamila Shamsie to my attention as I now want to read her other novels which I’m sure are fantastic!
