The book explores their private lives, interests and concerns. But what changes have occurred to their secret inner beliefs.
The first part of the novel in Pakistan was extremely interesting as it showed a different way of life.
Unfortunately the second half was more political and more difficult to keep reading. I struggled to finish this novel.
Can’t recommend it to anyone else but previous books have been really good.
