Loved the cover of this book and I really enjoyed the first part of this story. The two main characters are young girls in Karachi, it tells their story of the time, their friendship, trials and tribulations. Quite fast paced and I really enjoyed reading it. Unfortunately it then jumps on decades and becomes much slower paced, I found it really difficult to stick with it, having days where I just didn't pick it up to read.
I think it has taken me about 3 weeks to read it, which is quite unusual for me, I usually read at least a book a week. It's the first time I have read any books by this author, I won't let it stop me from reading another of her books as we don't always like every book a particular author writes. Hopefully the next one I pick up will be one I find I cannot put down.
