Just didn't hit the spot for me I'm afraid and I was unable to finish this book. I found the characters a bit lacking in depth and the beginning at the high school was annoying and confusing. The names blurred into one as we didn't get any information about the characters early on so I found it hard to keep track. Maybe if you are form the county it is set then you can relate more but I just couldn't.
I like the front cover but I don't think it lends itself to what is actually happening in the book.
I may pick this one up another time when I've got more patience but it's just not right for me right now.
It's definitely a character driven book as opposed to a story driven book.
Not sure what else I can say about this book, I hope others liked it and it does well but it's not an easy pick up read. Maybe some of the authors other books arw better but I wouldn't rush to get one.
