I don’t read much horror and tend to find most novels that are a bit otherworldly and eerie quite frustrating because they seem to be so ambiguous. I’m never sure if I’ve interpreted things the way the author intended. With the addition of grief and sublimated sexual desire to the ghostly set-up and an opening extract that didn’t really pull me in, I think it’s confirmed that this isn’t a novel for me and I won’t enter the raffle!
