From the short extract, William Friend opens with the name Black Mamba and brings you through the first instance that Alfie, one of the protagonist, heard of that name and the eerie scenario of this memory. The first few lines already has me hooked and I was intrigued to find out what is this mysterious Black Mamba and how Alfie, his girls and Julia will overcome their grief . The plot and the First Look has definitely left me wanting more and am excited to continue the story!
