This is certainly a different book, but not one I'd like to read. I'm not really a fan of supernatural beings, especially if they seem to be hostile and malevolent. I read books for escapism and this sounds like one which would stay with me and not be a relaxing read. The cover is striking and the black drips looking like blood give an indication of what the story could entail.
