The beginning of the first mini-chapter from the perspective of Alfie naturally gives me chills, starting from the acknowledgement of an unknown man being in the house. In this mini-chapter, we only get to know what the main character experience (fear), without knowing what the unknown man looks like. The unknown is always scary, so I couldn't stop reading it to find out more about the story.
