When I read certain books, I often think how good this story would be if it were to be made into a film and I think Black Mamba would be a great film. It has all the hallmarks of a classic modern day horror story. With a recently bereaved husband and father, the creepy twin daughters, strange relatives, an imaginary friend and a background of an old spooky house that could have a dubious history, this has all the atmosphere of a very memorable horror story.
I thought right from the start that there would be a twist in the tale somewhere in the story, this is usually at the end when things work out differently to how the reader expects. But this story had several surprises all the way through it as I read more about the characters involved. Black Mamba certainly kept me interested all the way through and once I started to read it, I found it very hard to put down.
