I was keen to read Black Mamba from the moment it first caught my eye on the website; the cover was enticing and intriguing, and the blurb increased my enthusiasm.
Unfortunately after finishing I feel let down.
I admit it did seem to be keeping me interested throughout, but I found, in the end, it was only to find all the answers to the questions I was left with.
I felt like there were so many loose ends which made me want more; Largely Eric and Sue, and her son Michael. There was so much there to be said.
Also the twins, there was so much open space to be filled and I wish we got to see more into the relationship.
There was so much more to be explored and answered; there was still quite a lot left in the air.
A lot of details seem to have been pushed aside for the ending; which is open for interpretation but bothers me immensely.
I felt like I was waiting for a big moment but it never really happened, though it seemed to be leading that way.
