Received this book and started it straight away. A very dark book and also a very disturbing book. I can’t say I didn’t like it but the sequence was long and troublesome and the secrets and disturbing thoughts were immense. I usually read uplifting books but was keen to read a little bit more darker. The family twists and turns and the daughters vivid imagination feels very intense. I think it’s down to the depths of the feelings and the way we all deal with loss different. Give it a go but prepared to feel the intensity of this book and maybe have a lighter book to follow which I did. If you like thrillers and dark books then this one is for you. Fir me too intense and dark but it is well written and in some parts quite disturbing. Not my usual book but glad I gave it a go as it helped me to understand a different way of writing. Very disturbing deep and dark.
