This book is quite original which is something a lot of gothic/mystery books struggle with.
I think it was a good read and i would read it again but its not one of my top 10. Its not a bad book but im very picky when it comes to this genre.
I like the cover of the book alot,i love the contrast. As someone studying photography and art, i definitely judged the book by its cover haha.
As far as the actual writing, most of the time it was alright but there were times where i felt the pace was a bit quick or a bit slow. Its not a huge turnoff though
Id definitely recommend this book if i were asked my opinion of it. If you are a mystery/gothic book fan i think you would appreciate it more than myself considering this is not my favourite genre.
