One night Black Mamba appears to the girls, a real person or a symbol of their grief? The author tackles the topic of loss of a wife, mother, sister and daughter and the struggles of those left behind.
I found the book compelling and questioning of what I thought about who/what Black Mamba was or represented. The cover is equally chilling, just the use of white and black is eye catching and striking.
This book would be enjoyed by readers of thrillers/horror/occult genres. It has made me want to look out for the next book by William Friend. What a first book!
