Told from either Alfie or Julia's perspective. Alfie lives with his twin daughters Cassia and Sylvie, who seem to have made an unusual "friend" in their family home, which their Dad and Auntie find unsettling. Sadly their Mother Pippa had passed away suddenly nine months earlier.
Julia is Pippa's twin sister, Julia's told both in present time and memories of the past living in the same house with her twin. Julia has suffered family losses with both her twin sister and other family members, also has the worry of her own Mother who's still living nearby.
I'm not really sure what my thoughts are on 'Black Mamba', it's an easy read but not gripping, best read in one sitting. I wouldn't like to say it was a chilling read. After completing the book, to be honest I'm not really getting it?? Glad I read it, as I always like to give a new author a try.
