An excellent tense read where you cannot trust anyone!

The main thing to jump out at me as I read the premise and first impression of this book is the amazing atmosphere and tension that is created. The Scottish highlands add an isolated eeriness which gives an even more ‘edge of your seat’ feeling to the reader. I have been left desperate to know whether DS Craigie can hunt down the kidnapped and mole and save Affi. This feels like the kind of book where a reader cannot trust anyone!

I absolutely love the cover and would definitely be drawn to it in a store.
