Quite a tense opening to this book, jumps from in danger, to safe, to maybe in danger again, brief sigh of safe - then definitely in danger which came from nowhere. Story begins with a form of child trafficing, but will that be the main reason or could something else be in play?

Good introductions to various characters we will get to know better as the book progresses no doubt - the usual cop male/female partner banter and their cliche sweary boss.

Excellent tagline on the cover from Ian Rankin which definitely intrigues me to read more of this book when it comes out (or i am lucky enough to win a copy, it has been a while since we've had a crimey one).
