There’s a lot to unpack in this book. The story shifts from a few years ago when a young girl was discovered being a human trafficking victim, to present day… a young girl gone missing and kidnapped by her old captors.
I was intrigued by the authority’s response to her disappearance because it is so realistic. I would be over the moon to keep reading this one!! Affie’s story will stick with me. Most of all because it’s happened time and time again.
