The sample that I have read of an author, I have not heard of, has impressed me. I do like quite a few of the latest Authors set in Scottish Police procedurals including, Ian Rankin, Ann Cleves, Denzil Meyrick, Ed James and Alan Banks.
This sample sits up there with the best of them.
