The story starts of by drawing you in almost immediately. Straight away you know that the main character Affi is in danger and wants to get away from something. There is an instant mistrust of the people around her on the train which, based on the blurb, would appear to be a theme that will continue through the book as the investigation for a mole commences. All the main players seem to be introduced in the first few chapters, yet not in as much detail as Affi. As she is the one that goes missing I thought this was an interesting choice as sometimes with crime novels there isn't as much attention paid to the victim. This story however makes you really care for her and you really want her to be found safely. This is quite impressive that the author makes you care and gets you so invested in the story so quickly, so I'd love to read more and see where the story goes.
