I enjoy crime fiction and have read quite a bit of Scottish noir , although I am not familiar with this author.
The pages of the “ First Look “ do a competent job of laying down the background to the story. Hopefully, the plot will develop into a thrilling ride and I will then be tempted to read other titles by this author.
