The prologue starts off with this eery and suspenseful tone, it engages the audience from the get go. I just love the fact that the author used such ominous language in the prologue. It sets the tone of the rest of the book and also the front cover looks so incredible. It’s simple yet effective and reading the prologue alone has made me want to read the rest of the book
