The cover is a little bland, rather over powered by the title and too many words, but don't let this put you off. This is a topical story, Affie Smith is an Albanian girl who, at 12 years old, was a drug "mule" for the Albanian mafia. She is rescued, and semi-adopted by a couple north of Inverness, but the tentacles of the Mafia seek her out, and at 15 she is re-captured by the mafia. Can DS Max Craigie, and DC Janie Calder track her down and save her again?
