This was an amazing crime thriller! I was hooked from the start. I have not read the previous 3 books but that did not matter. It is a great standalone read.
The book immediately opens up with 12-year-old Affi, a trafficking victim who is rescued as she is on her way into the UK with drugs. The book moves forward to show 15-year-old Affi going for a run however she never returns. She was supposed to be safe under a new identity.......

The book was exciting from the start and fast-paced. There were so many twists and turns are you were always left guessing who was the mole inside the police department. I liked the incorporation of different areas of the police department, NCA, and CSI.
This is a gripping book with a challenging plot. I definitely recommend it.
