I thought this book would be a little heavy for me but it was gripping. I did wonder as the book was about trafficking that it may be hard to read however it was good and very well written. Without giving too much away it grips you as the characters appear. I loved the character Norma who was warm and believable. It takes you to a world of unbelievably hardship and very hard to understand. The way it is written takes your hand and leads you into a world of deceit darkness and despair. Along with the other characters the story relates to the trafficking and the early years and what follows. It’s totally believable and emotive full of anticipation and grips you from the moment you open the pages. I didn’t know how I was going to feel reading this but I’m glad I read it and feel the heartache of the characters will stay with me for a long time. Excellent!
