I have never read any other books by this author, but I wasn't disappointed as it was such a gripping read and I would definitely read more of his work. The plot was good from the beginning it focused on a young Albanian girl who was trafficked to England by a gang who kept her against her will and forced her into a life of crime. But she managed to get away and start a new life in Scotland until the gang managed to track her down and abducted her once again, the police got involved and the two detectives on the case managed to solve the case with lots of corruption and gang crime along the way. It was definitely a page turner and worthy of a read. The style of the writing was excellent with some really good tense scenes you could really imagine the characters and get immersed in the plot. The ending was just as I imagined it would be and was good to read.
