Don't think I've read anything by Neil Lancaster before, but was looking forward to reading this advanced readers copy because it sounded like just my kind of thing and the usual story I like to go for. I was right, I couldn't put it down! I thought it was a gripping story with an interesting ending. I thought it was all tied up nicely and really enjoyed the style of the writing. The chapters are quite short as well which always means I can't put books down, and keeps the story snappy throughout.
The subject of human trafficking that is explored in the book, from the victim, to those involved, and those left behind, is a difficult one. However, it is well written about and done in a sensitive and clever way.
Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys crime books, and I will definately be reading other books that Neil Lancaster has written..
