This is the first book i have ready by Neil Lancaster and it will not be the last. I have read a few thrillers lately and they have not come close to this one, i was draw in from the first page and could not put the book down.
It surrounds a young girl affi who is in witness protection in scotland after fleeing from her traffickers. She has a nice quite couple of years until they find her. However they dk not keep her long the detective who is investigating the kidnapping wants to find out more and is shocked when he discovers there must be someone on the inside working with the criminals and leaking information to them about the case.
They will stop at mothing to uncover the truth and find out who is working against them.
This is an exciting fast paced story with a few twists and turns that you do not see coming.
