This was an amazing crime thriller based on international-organised crime and human trafficking. I didn't know this was part of a series however so I'm definitely going to get the first three of the series soon! The author writes so well and there's so much excitement throughout all the pages which is maintained consistently throughout, and it was interesting reading a specifically Sottish thriller. Very fast moving and full of twists and turns, and the characters are interesting. I was able to imagine the scene playing in my mind and it felt so real. I did read this in a lot fewer days than I was expecting because I was not able to put such an interesting book down. There was a bit of humour in the book as well which is great to lighten up the tension as some parts are of course emotionally moving due to the book's theme. I would definitely recommend this.
