I originally wrote in my first impression, "The sample that I have read of an author, I have not heard of, has impressed me. I do like quite a few of the latest Authors set in Scottish Police procedurals including, Ian Rankin, Ann Cleeves, Denzil Meyrick, Ed James and Alan Banks.
This sample sits up there with the best of them."
Having read it I am even more impressed. The story is very captivating about a subject that has been in the news and is in my opinion very tragic and it seems a shame that very little happens to bring the perpetrators to justice.
I enjoyed the book and I am still awaiting my local library to get the first in the series "Dead Mans Grave" to be made available which I am looking for in anticipation. He has written another series for a character called Tom Novak and I noticed it was available through Kindle Unlimited. I have since borrowed it and read it.
This has confirmed to me that this is an author not to be missed.
