WOW, WOW & WOW. At first I was a little sceptical. But wow did this book pull me in to the story. Some of the Scottish terms through me a little but that was easily passed over. As you could either work it out by reading everything around the word or just simply looking up what the word meant.
But the story was gripping, made you want to know more about Affi and her life before arriving at her foster home. I wanted to read more and more. I needed to know what happened after. I needed to know The how, when and why of before and after. I wanted to know more about her sister too and the life of the other characters too.
This is definitely a book I will look out for and will definitely purchase.
