This starts in June 1645, with Holcroft Blood preparing for a battle against the rebel army, guns and canon at the ready. King James is ruling but there is unrest and some factions are rooting for William of Orange to take charge. There is torture and treachery for the off with factual elements mixed with fiction, a great swashbuckling, bloody war of an adventure.
