The main attraction for me is that I really enjoyed the previous book in the series - the opening interrogation and the battlefield scenes would not draw me in themselves. However, I like the complexity of the characters, the French agent is not a complete villain it seems and Blood is a very different hero, and I am interested in the historical background.
