But, I quite like the cover. It's less simple compared to what you usually find. And usually, I'd say simpler is better, though with this book it works well!
Maybe just make slight changes to colour, author's name looks out of place in yellow. Maybe, something equally dark sill work better. Also too much capitalisation is off-putting I think, particularly when all text is close to each other. Making either the title bold or the author's name (but noth both) might be worth a try.
