As we've been given no opportunity to have a 'sneak peek' at this story I can't comment on the author's writing style, or his ability to quickly engage his young readers' attention. However, from the synopsis I can imagine that the story, which sounds full of fun and adventure, will appeal to confident readers and I'm sure slightly younger readers would probably enjoy having it read to them. The colourful cover seems to capture the essence of the contents.
