It’s a book about teenage girls on their trip to the seaside, the interesting part, which may be tongue in cheek, is that they are off to a book festival. The protagonist is a girl who reels off a mile long train of internal dialogues, small talk and chit chat. This containing strange observations, mini obessions and curiosities. Perhaps appealing to the teenage girl in you, but alas not to me. It’s readable to be sure, just the content is not really to my taste. Needs more zombies, but if I was on a train and had this book, a Telly or the Daily express as entertainment, I would read this first.
