I really enjoyed the First Impression. The author manages to capture the speech patterns and obsessions of the 16/17 year old girl perfectly. There is also a warmth and gentle humour to the writing that sucks you in and puts a grin on your face. I am also rather jealous of Holly and Paige getting to go to a Book Festival, even if they are working.
I am far too old for YA books but just recently they have proved to be a far more enjoyable read than a lot of the more "age appropriate" reading I have done. I'm genuinely looking forward to this one being released.
