Overly dramatic teen speak narrative which had me cringing!

Whilst I loved the premise and the idea of attending a book festival let alone having the opportunity to see everything that goes on behind the scenes, the First Impression made for cringeworthy reading! I may be 20 years too old for the target audience but I just found the overly dramatic affectation difficult to appreciate. On balance, probably not a book for me!
