I enjoyed reading the first Bookshop Girl Book and so was excited to read Life's a Beach but it sadly didn't meet up to my expectations. Although I found the first book hilarious and enjoyable to read I found this one a lot more predictable and so I lost interest quite early on.
I didn't find Paige or Holly got up to a lot on their holiday and anything they did do outside of work either went wrong which became repetitive and predictable or they were just following orders off others. I liked how they met characters like Minnie but I wish they'd done more together than just listen to her orders as then I don't feel like I want to like her as a diva in that way. Minnie had great advice at the end but it took her the whole book to get there!
I like how Paige and Holly followed there dreams and did all they could to meet there idol and it shows that you shouldn't give up. I hope in any future books we get to read more about the girls friendship again and have them focus on what's important to them which is what made the first book so great.
