I really enjoyed this book, and it’s unique sense of humour. I love the setting and how both Holly and Paige get involved in lots of traditional ‘by the sea activites’. The characters feel slightly stereotypical, however I think this book is perfect for younger readers, as it still contains some funny and entertaining content. Throughout the book, Coles does a really good job to help us empathise with the characters, I loved how we were able to embrace the weird within us all! I’m glad that Minnie turns out to be nicer than she appears and was eventually able to help Paige. I loved reading about all the stupendous situations Paige managed to get herself into. Fingers crossed for the reuniting of Paige and her boyfriend!
