I read the first book in this series earlier this year, and I really enjoyed it, so I was really excited to see that there was a sequel coming out. These books are literally my dream life, of working in a bookstore and going to book festivals, and reading them just makes me feel like I am sort of living that life for a while.

This is one of those books where the main character ends up in loads of cringy/funny situations, and I found them really funny. Sometimes when authors try to do that kind of thing it doesn't really work, but in this case it really did.

I absolutely adored the seaside book festival setting of this book. It was exactly the kind of thing I've always wanted to go to.

I really loved the elements of girl power in this book too, especially the bit with the ladder (if you've read it you know what I mean). I just feel like even book that don't have feminism as the main plot line should still have feminism in there anyway, and this book definitely does.

If you like reading books about books and bookshops, I would definitely recommend this series.
