From the moment I saw Bookshop Girl, I knew I was going to love it. The title is what I aim to be in life, the cover is cute and the MC is called Paige Turner! It really did not take much more to entice me into wanting this book.
However, from the first sentence - nay, from the title of the first chapter (Pidgeon Tits, if you were wondering) - I was absolutely hooked by the relatable and witty narrative of Bookshop Girl.
Paige seems like the type of character that I will ultimately fall in love with (loves books, is probably a feminist, is optimistic, is funny, has a silly but awesome best friend, etc). I can't wait to get to know her and DUDE her mum seems like the coolest person 😀😍
