This is the story of Paige Turner (yes that is her name) who wants to save Bennetts Bookshop from closing and so she campaigns to have the decision to tear it down reversed.

This all sounds like a great story but I'm afraid for me it fell short.

What did I like? Well I loved the cover for one thing. Its bright and very eye catching. I also liked that the story is about books and bookshops. what's not to like about that?

Well here is what I didn't like, The writing style was very annoying with all the defos, omgs and LOLS. If this book is implying that all 16 year olds talk like this then I feel they might be selling them a bit short!

Another thing that didn't sit well with me were the feminist rants, I'm all for feminism and see myself as one as well but i felt that there were parts here that just went too far and actually bordered on male bashing.

Thanks for the opportunity to read unfortunately it just wasn't for me.
